Boulder has been at the forefront of the green building movement for years. Green materials and technologies have become an integral part of our day to day practice. Our projects incorporate alternative energy sources such as geothermal heat, solar electric, and passive solar heating. Engineered lumber and recycled content products are specified for the building structure. We spend the time to detail and properly specify the building envelope to minimize heat loss in winter and heat gain in summer. And we specify non-toxic interior paints and recycled content or managed-forest finish materials for the interiors of our projects. As a member of the Boulder Green Building Guild, we have an on-going commitment to stay abreast of the latest developments in the industry.
